Kulungwana – Association for Cultural Development, was officially registered on 23rd May 2006 in Maputo, Mozambique, and opened its Exhibition Space “Sala de Espera” at the Central Railway Station (CFM) in 2008. Since 2005, Kulungwana organizes the Maputo International Music Festival, and more recently, Xiquitsi, training project for orchestras and choirs. The gallery holds solo and group exhibitions, workshops and book launches.

The Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos (CCA, Lagos) is an independent, non-profit, art institution established in 2007. It aims to provide a platform for the development and presentation of contemporary art and culture; prioritising media such as photography, film and video, performance and installation art, both locally and internationally.
Art Bakery is a centre for contemporary art based in Bonendale, Douala, Cameroon. Founded in 2003, it has grounded its action on four pillars, namely a residency program for visual artists; training in art and visual culture and support to young artists, critics and curators; interaction with the community; and the use of new technologies for art production.
