– Centre d’art Waza is an independent art space based in Lubumbashi, DR Congo. Established in 2010, Waza provides resources for artists and cultural practitioners of all disciplines to develop critical thinking through artistic research, exchange with local communities and international art professionals. Waza develops projects at the intersection of art, research and social engagement and has been working for years on complex issues such as the restitution of cultural property and paradigm shifts in donor relations.

Aria Projects

Aria (artist residency in algiers) was founded by artist Zineb Sedira in 2011. Aria strives to develop cross-border dialogues as well as expanding a dynamic network across diverse international art communities within and beyond Algeria. Through residency, commissioning and exhibitions programmes, aria provides opportunities for emerging and established artists from North Africa and across the world to conduct artistic and cultural research and production. Aria collaborates and partners with other institutions and exhibition spaces to give more exposure to Algerian artists and to project a positive awareness and visibility of Algeria and its surroundings to global audiences.

Njelele Art Station

Njelele is an independent project space located in downtown Harare. It focuses on contemporary visual art forms, such as photography, film, animation, sound, installation and performance art. Njelele is an urban laboratory for creative experimentation, erudition and encounters with everyday life.

The underlying rationale of its program is the firm belief in visual arts as a potent tool capable of shifting perspectives, and ignite engagement for art practice as a viable path for social and political transformation.

B’chira Art Center

BAC Art Center, Tunisia, is an independent non-profit cultural association, located at the Bchira Art Center, Sabelet Ben Ammar, 2032, on the road of Sidi Thabet, Tunisia. By offering creators the means to perform in Tunisia and abroad, by supporting transversal artistic projects and by developing international proactive collaborations, the BAC association will contribute to democratizing contemporary art and opening up to new audiences.

Nubuke Foundation

At Nubuke our doors are open to everyone and we believe in nurturing young artists. We collaborate with the University of Ghana and KNUST (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology) to help their students bring their creations to life in our space. Our community programmes include design mentoring with traditional art practitioners and book-reading sessions with students from local schools. Professional curating services are available as well as exhibition management and design, travel and temporary exhibitions, art valuation, hanging and display services and cataloguing.

VANSA

VANSA operates as a support point and development agency for contemporary art practice in South Africa.
